KINDERSCHNEEALM

The Kinderschneealm in Serfaus celebrates its 20th birthday. For the anniversary, it shines in a new shape and a stately size of 45,000 square metres. A spatial separation of the meeting points makes the orientation easier. With the new "Murmli Hut", the Kinderschneealm – situated directly in the ski area below the midway station Komperdell – lives up to its name.
For lunch, children take the "Murmli Truck" – a piste machine which is specifically adapted for children – or make use of the conveyor belts to get to the children's restaurant above the Kinderschneealm where everything is equipped appropriately for children. Meanwhile the parents and grandparents enjoy the winter sunshine in cosy beach chairs or comfortable hammocks in the very nice relaxing zone of the Kinderschneealm.
Kinderschneealm: daily from 10:00 – 15:30
Murmli Park: daily from 9:30 – 16:30
MURMLIPARK

The paradise for the 'gentle birth of ski children' - in the middle of Serfaus is the Murmlipark on a gently sloping pasture some 10,000 m² in size.
The park is open to everyone free of charge daily from 09.30 am to 04.30 pm. Two moving walkways for children (one over 100 metres long), a carousel, a bouncy castle, a children's toboggan run, an igloo and all sorts of play figures guarantee adventure and fun for the whole family, above all for children aged between 3 and 4.
The Serfaus ski school has developed its own training course for 3 to 4 year olds: with the 'gentle birth of ski children', little ones can learn to ski easily while having fun.
The programme can be booked for a half day (in the morning from 10.00 to 12.00 am) with or without lunch and lunchtime supervision.
prices:
1/2 Day 33,00 Euro
lunch and lunchtime supervision 13,50 Euro
Advanced booking is necessary (up to 1 day before the course starts).
MURMLITRAIL

The adventure descent for children - come with us into Murmli's wonder world!
Murmli the marmot, our tiny Serfaus macot, has a large winter kingdom. He can be seen everywhere on the children's slopes, he even has his own money and his own cable car. But where Murmli lives and what it really looks like there, until now nobody knew. But he has lifted the secrecy a little and will show you his wonder world on an exciting adventure journey. The journey starts close to the Gampenbahn. Enjoy it!

(1) Entrance
You're in the right place once you see the large arch with the words 'Murmlitrail'. Just go through the arch and listen to wonderful, welcoming sounds.
(2) Story fountain
What's that? It looks like a fountain. Go and look over the edge. Quiet now, you'll immediatly hear and see the story of Murmli and his thrilling journey through the snow.
(3) Talking root man
Ugh, what does he look like? Hello root man, can you talk? Perhaps he understands you, perhaps he doesn't. Try again: make a snowball and throw it at him. You'll be amazed what happens then!
(4) Photo board
Come on, say cheese and give us a big smile! And that means parents too. Because if you're going to be photographed with Murmli and the bears then you have to put on your cheeriest face. After all, not everyone is lucky enough to get this photo!
(5) Sleeping bear
So what do bears do in winter? That's right, they hibernate! You can climb very gently on this snorer and enjoy the view. But hang on, what was that? He's moving, waking up and doing a bit of mumbly-grumbly. Hold on tight if you don't want to fall!
(6) Croaky owl
Fiona's craftly owl. She squats on her branch and pretends to be asleep. But you can outwit her. Simply go up to the tree and say: 'Fiona sing!' - and she'll sing. Of course, she can also talk. But her croaky dialect is totally unique.
(7) Murmli cave
Finally you're there down at Murmli's home. It's really comfortabel in the cave where the tiny mountain-dweller actually lives. A living room, bedroom, kitchen, yep, everything's there. You have to be very quiet in the children's room though. Murmli's baby is asleep and really ought not to be woken up.
The root man, the bear, Fiona the owl and of course Murmli say thank you for your visit. If you want to see them again, simply go back through the arch and set off on the adventure once more. |
