Your Universo host family
The Hotel Universo has been in Serfaus in Tyrol since 1994. Today it is Uschi Peer and her daughter Maria who manage the hotel, which has become a cosy, small and familial well-being hotel with a very special atmosphere. Cordial hospitality, Alpine charm, an eye for the little things in life and guests’ individual needs, along with spiritual influences from across the globe, are what distinguish your holiday experience on the sunny high plateau in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. Whether it is as a family, as a couple, with friends or by yourself – everyone enjoys a warm welcome here!

They are fully behind what they do and this is evident in the way they conduct themselves with their guests and the way they set up the Hotel Universo. Our family-managed Hotel Universo – since 1994
Every hotel has its story. The Hotel Universo’s started in 1994 – and quite a lot has happened since then. A progression that has seen them go from being a restaurant to a biker hotel and finally to a special well-being hotel, providing some bespoke time-out from the daily grind.
- 1994: Start of construction of the Hotel Universo – in the beginning there was only a restaurant
- 1995: The restaurant was converted to become a hotel providing rooms & apartment
- 2015 Rebuilding: the swimming pool and saunas were built
- 2015: Changeover from biker hotel to become a bespoke well-being hotel
- 2022: Rebuilding: the wine chapel will be completely rebuilt and enlarged
