Fisser Flieger & Skyswing
Out and about in Serfaus
Don your pilot's vest, buckle in, thumbs up & take-off
The “Fisser Flieger” is a flying machine, not unlike a biplane, which takes four passengers and “hovers” 8 to 47 metres above the ground. This hovering, however, is technically cushioned, because the “Flieger” is guided on rollers that glide over a stable steel cable and cannot detach themselves from it. The passengers hang in a hang-glider harness, which gives the feeling of free flight, but still offers optimal safety. The project begins at the Möseralm mountain station in Fiss, where all flight preparations take place. At 40 km/h the “flyer” is pulled up backwards. Once at the highest point, the flight takes off at up to 80 km/h over the Möseralm.
Flight altitude: up to 47 m
Total length: approx. 700 m
Number of passengers: up to 4
Speed forwards: 80 km/h
Speed backwards: 40 km/h
By the way, the Fisser Flieger also flies in summer!
