Out and about in Serfaus

Hundreds of marmots live here.

Information boards will tell you more about their structures, their lives and their usefulness. Watch young marmots – little monkeys – playing or the lonely “watcher” when he surprises you with a “whistle”.

Outline: From the mountain station of the Lazidbahn (S301) first on the wide track to the Scheid (S217). From the WW (S218) behind the lift station on the Murmeltiersteig 25a, over the Kitzköpfl to the Furglersee (S211). From Furglersee follow the Weitwanderweg 702 (Steig 21), cross the Malfristwiesen meadows to the Komperdell (Kölner Haus).
